About The Company
SBL Nova powers the only fully automated digital lending platform for securities-based lines of credit, taking origination from weeks to under an hour. We're now building the bridge between traditional collateral monitoring and on-chain assets — tokenized securities, digital custody, and blockchain-based settlement — and need a full-stack engineer equally comfortable in Solidity and a modern web app.
About The Role
Design and build the on-chain and off-chain infrastructure connecting SBL Nova's lending platform to tokenized collateral, wallets, and settlement networks.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience
- 2+ years building production Web3 applications, including smart contract development (Solidity) and front-end Web3 integrations (ethers.js/viem, wagmi)
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React or Next.js
- Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, or Go, and comfort designing REST/GraphQL APIs
- Practical understanding of wallets, key management, transaction signing, and multi-chain infrastructure
- Experience with blockchain data tooling (block explorers, indexers like The Graph, RPC providers such as Alchemy/Infura)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to reason carefully about security, given you'll be touching code that moves real value
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with tokenization of real-world assets, securities, or collateral
- Familiarity with DeFi lending/borrowing protocols, oracles, and cross-chain bridges
- Experience integrating custodial or non-custodial wallet infrastructure into a regulated product
- Prior fintech, banking, or wealth management platform experience
- Exposure to SOC 2 controls or financial services compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack features spanning on-chain smart contracts and the off-chain platform that surfaces them to advisors and institutions
- Develop and maintain smart contracts for tokenized collateral tracking, settlement, and reporting, working closely with our security auditor on every deployment
- Build reliable indexing and monitoring pipelines that keep on-chain and off-chain collateral data in sync in real time
- Integrate wallet, custody, and RPC infrastructure into our existing lending and servicing products
- Collaborate with product and design to ship intuitive interfaces for a largely non-crypto-native audience of financial advisors and institutions
- Participate in architecture decisions as we scale our blockchain footprint, balancing innovation with the reliability our regulated clients require
- Ship on a two-week Agile cadence alongside the rest of the engineering team
